Today, we got to collect data for our very own tally charts! We then began labelling a bar graph which we will fill in the data for tomorrow. A bar graph has to have 5 things: title, labels, categories, a scale and the data. We will keep working on this tomorrow.
We learned about poverty in India today. Ask your child about what poverty does to a coountry's quality of life.
We tried out our language arts center rotations for the first time today. The students did an amazing job of keeping organized and staying on task. We will practice again tomorrow and two times next week so that we can immediately get back into it after Christmas break! Ask your child which activity they enjoyed the most.
I realized that I forgot to add a list of spelling words on yesterday's blog. Please review the words below as possible spelling words for this week based on long vowel sounds.
