Today we worked on a digital graphing activity using Google Classrooms. We then went onto Mathletics when we were done to work on more graphing activities - remember that this is a valuable tool for you to use at home as well!
We discussed the difference between living in an Indian Village and an Indian city and then did some writing.
This afternoon, we worked on some art. We are making birch tree paintings! We need 2 days to complete all the steps so they will be complete tomorrow! Our first step was to place painter's tape on all the places that we wanted to be trees, and then cut out branches out of tape as well. We then painted over our papers with blue (and a little bit of black) to create a night sky! Tomorrow, we will remove the tape and add shadows to our trees, as well as snowflakes and a moon! So exciting!
REMINDERS/UPDATES:
- tomorrow is wacky winter hat day!
- tomorrow is the last day of the food drive for the food bank. Thank you to everyone who has donated! Woodlands had to call and ask for extra boxes to be dropped off because ours were exploding!
- remember that we will be learning virtually from January 4th-8th. More information will be coming on this.
